Frankfort, Franklin Co and Woodford Co all tied at 3-2. Frankfort only team that controls own destiny and is No. 1 seed with win over Woodford next Saturday. Franklin top seed with Woodford win over Frankfort and win over Western Hills. Woodford top seed with win over Frankfort and Western Hills beating Franklin. Not sure it matters come district time as all teams are fairly equal on any given night.

FC went to Versailles as the underdog and stole one last night. Sometimes good things happen when you give maximum effort and you follow the game plan the coach lays out.

 

I think Frankfort is the favorite in the district right now. It will be interesting to see if Coach Wise's guarantee to win district comes to fruition.

Again, I seriously doubt he made a guarantee, but even so, he is looking like a prophet. If Frankfort beats Woodford County next Saturday, they win the regular season district title. Of course, that is not the one any of these teams want -- that will be played in late February.

Should be a great atmosphere, where is the game being played? Yes, Wise did make the guarantee (from a most trusted source). I like the fact that he pulled the "Broadway Joe", making the guarantee, I think it makes it that much more fun!!!

Prediction - Woodford will beat Frankfort pretty handily......Franklin County struggles, but pulls out a close one at Western Hills. In the end the District seeds will be 1. Franklin County 2. Woodford Co. 3. Frankfort 4. Western Hills
