Anyone have any details yet if the 2 semifinal games will be played as scheduled tonight?

Just got word that the games are on as scheduled tonight for the All "A" Semifinals at NCC.

 

Holy Cross vs. lloyd at 6:00 pm

Newport vs. NCC at 8:00 pm

HC/Lloyd has the chance to be a good game.

 

The other? Not so much.

I agree with you Clyde. I was at the first HC/Lloyd game a few weeks ago in Latonia and it was a close game (44-41 I believe) and Cheatham picked up 2 quick fouls and only played 3 minutes in the first half of that game.

 

HC will press full court the whole game so I think the key will be whether or not Lloyd's guards can handle that pressure over 32 minutes. They have been forcing a lot of turnovers off the press the last several games. I think the HC kids are starting to believe and trust in the new system coach Goetz has put in place.

 

2nd game could get ugly.

Been trying since 6:00 p.m. to watch the Holy Cross/Lloyd game on nkysports.com, but I'm not getting it. Anybody know what's going on? I'm starting to realize that, as nice as it is that nkysports tries to do games, they aren't always successful at pulling it off. Don't know why? This is the 3rd time this season that I relied on them to see live games and just ended up frustrated (Bluegrass/Buckeye Challenge, NewCath/Fern Creek at the Lloyd Invitational and now the All 'A' Classic). I should've gone on over to NewCath to watch it in person. I wish that they were more dependable so I could plan better to go to the game or stay home on a 13 degrees night.
