January 15, 201115 yr Cobb mentioned Welker in his press conference. They have similar body types (Cobb is 5'11'' 186 & Welker is 5'9'' 185). Houshmanzadeh is much bigger at 6'2'' 203. I agree that Cobb will be a possession type guy at the slot WR. I think he can do well in the right offense. But what sets him apart from other WR's that appeals to NFL teams? Welker & TJ have both had very solid NFL careers, but neither were highly touted out of college. Welker went undrafted & Houshmanzadeh was a 7th round pick. I think his potential to return kicks and punts will benefit him in terms of draft position. Plus, having played QB in college, he offers some versatility with gadgets to a savvy offensive coordinator. I think he has potential to go in round 4, maybe even 3 if he performs well at the combine. JMO.
