Coach Goetz asked me to vote for him. It may cause some debate, but in the name of openness and transparency, here is my ballot:

2. CovCath

3. NewCath

4. Holmes

5. Campbell Co

6. Boone Co

With 12 coaches participating in this ballot, I think this is the best nky poll we've seen to date.

Holy Cross just beat Ryle last week. They should be ranked ahead of them and at least 9 or 10 in the polls.

As you can see in one of the above posts, they are #9 in the polls. I cannot see ranking a team that has a losing record at the time I place my ballot even if it is the team I work with. At the time I voted, Holy Cross was 5-6. If I run out of teams with a .500 record or better, then I guess I have to, but I will not if I do not have to. Also, as you get later in the season, it can be very difficult to rank teams based on who beat who, because it appears the 9th region will have a lot of teams beating each other at one point in the season or another and we may just have to go on the latest results.

I feel like you have to go with what the team is doing currently. Who beat who early in the season means nothing. This looks like a pretty solid poll.

These polls are meaningless imo. Any team can knock off another on any given night. The only clear cut obvious pick is undefeated Dixie Heights.
