NewCath defeats Fern Creek for the Lloyd Invitational Championship

Congrats to NewCath great win and great job by Fern Creek what a great game and what a great tourney. I feel bad how cheep I paid to see some great games and got to see some really good teams and new players. I have not seen Fern Creek this year and really enjoyed watching them. Now I have to wait till next year for the tourney to start up again.

Fern Creek cut the lead to 3 late in the game and had a chance to tie but a Zack Ryan tip in off a Hightchew missed free throw sealed the deal for the Breds.

 

Hightchew led all scorers with 23.

 

Geisler finished with, I believe, 14.

As of 11:40 p.m. I'm still just getting only the 2nd Half of the game. Thankfully, at least I got to see that much.

After seeing Panda's pics of the last two NewCath games, it's a wonder that Geisler hasn't bitten his own tongue off. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

Considering that he never gets a rest, I guess it's only natural that he'd be wagging his tongue.

I was duely impressed with Hightchew throughout this tourney. He penetrates and dishes or penetrate and finishes as well as anyone in the 9th. Very quick move to the basket.

I think he sticks his tounge out during player introductions! With all seriousness, I can not remember him sitting out during any of these games. Amazing cardio.
