Final

MC 1-0

PC 1-3

Mason County FINALLY starts their season with a nice win on the road. Pendleton County jumped out to a 13-9 1st quarter lead after knocking down some 3's.

Defense will again carry this Royals team as far as they go, for those that didn't see my post earlier, Pawsat is on schedule to return by middle or late January.

Setty led all scorers with 26

Nice win for the 10th Region Champs.

Let's make this a 4peat guys!

Turnovers kill this young Pendleton County team again. Setty was unstoppable in the first half for Mason County.

MC (1-0) Gilbert 10, Osborne 6, Black 13, Setty 26, Harris 7, Henry 3, Staggs 2

PC (1-3) Monroe 10, Woods 3, Antrobus 9, Walsh 6, Valentine 5, Crozier 2, Moore 3, Rering 4

As I said in my first post, he hurt his knee again in the football playoff game last month. It was reported the other day that Neal is doing great and he is on schedule to start some light running around in around 4 weeks, "should" be back to playing mid the middle or end of January.

No surprise that last year on January 26th, the Royals started a 12 game winning streak that didn't end until the loss to the eventual state champs Shelby Valley Saturday morning at Rupp. Pawsat, Harris, Black all missed time due to injuries. Goodness willing Neal will be the only one that misses any significant time this year.

I predicted this in the prior Mason vs' Pendleton predictions thread, just for the record. Looks like another strong year for the Royals.....................watchout Clark County.
