Mason County 41 East Ridge 20

Featured Replies

Looking forward to the Somerset/Mason County game barring an upset.

Kind of a sloppy game but a win is a win at this stage. Royals need to tighten up a few things before Friday's game against Belfry.

Congratulations to Royals QB Neal Pawsat who eclipsed the 5,000 yard passing mark last night. According to this morning's Maysville paper, Neal is second on the all-time Mason County list in passing yards.

I expected to see more from Mason's offense, especially after last week.

Me too, but 41-6 after three quarters was untimately about what I expected. Putting the ball on the ground on the first offensive play kind of set the tone.

An interesting sidebar - as we were headed to our (cold) seats, I told my wife that the final score would be 41-20. Should have bought a lottery ticket.

Should have. It wasn't the amount of points Mason scored as much as they looked too sloppy on offense at times. The passing game clicked at times and at times not so much.

Congrats to Mason County on the win. :thumb:

I think I heard from Danny a few weeks ago that Dustin finished his career with 8 thousand or something?? Really wish I could have gotten to see him play in person.

A pretty win, sloppy win, whatever... one of you said it earlier - "a win is a win". That is all that matters at this point. Win and advance. I'll take a win by a field goal or by 50, doesn't matter, just advance to the next week

I have total confidence that Coach B and his staff are working on the areas that need it and getting the players prepared each week. I think we take what they've done over the years for granted sometimes... and look at this year, 11-1. What a great season so far and it ain't over baby!! :dancingpa:
