Monroe Co., better be prepared for an air attack, If you have good DB's and can pressure the WC QB, then you MC can win. WC loves to spread the field and throw the ball. Also, Danville had big time yardage on the ground with a little quick pitch sweep just scraping the Tight End, but I don't know how much speed MC has to execute that play.

 

Monroe has plenty of speed to run sweeps. If Monroe plays defense against Washington Co. the way they did against Allen then Falcons. Monroe has had no problems on offense it is the defense that has been suspect.

It's been said before, there's no reason to pick AGAINST the Monroe County Falcons in this one. They'll get it done on Friday night and advance to the second round. MC with a two TD victory.

However, Washington has a good passing game while Monroe's DBs are questionable. I believe the overall playoff experience and toughness would go to the Falcons. With that being said, I'm taking the Falcons in this one 34-32. Look for Vickery to have a good game !!!

Sounds like it could be a shoot out. With the information you have given, it would be to MC's advantage to keep the ball on the ground and play ball control. Washington County can score in a hurry when they get that passing attack cranked up. They all so have receivers that can make difficult catches.

Monroe's DB's have the making to be tough. Kendall is very aggresive and has tremendous closing speed, London is also a senior with good speed but take you out of the game hitting power, and the only questionable is Ford, but after ACs's game I would say he is coming around...The linebackers are as good as they get in 2a football, with two of them being sophmores! I do feel that the spread offense will be tough but can they stop Monroe's attack from everywhere!!!!

If WC's offense is clicking the score will be a lot higher than this. WC 45- MC 42. WC has a very good kicker with a strong leg, he hit two field goals against Danville in the 32-38 yard range, and they would have been good from 50 yards. He is also the punter and he can flip field position on you with his leg.:eek::scared:

Love to see this game, great comments from everyone, Monore CO. has deep playoff experince and don't want to have season, "ending with a 5 game losing streak." Falcons win.

Two well coached and good teams. I will go with MC in a very hard fought game. Their exp. will help them 27-19. Good year for both teams no matter who wins.
