Game of the Year in NKY

Featured Replies

Now that the 2010 regular season is over, what was the regular season "Game of the Year" in NKY? I'd say there are a few to choose from, like the Ryle-Simon Kenton game, the Highlands-CovCath game, the Beechwood-NCC game, the Cooper-Conner game and the second Highlands-Ryle game (among others). Consider things like how big the rivalry is, the importance of the game, how exciting it was, and how well the teams played in the game.

Let's hear it!

And yes, I realize that there will be some big NKY playoff games coming up, but that will be a different discussion for a different time!

I'd have to say Ryle-SK because of the playoff implications.

The best games I saw this year were:

Newcath v Beechwood

Campbell Co v Cooper

Highlands v Ryle (Round 2)

Obviously the SK-Ryle game ranks up there as well.

I didn't see tonight's BW/NC game so I'll say the most exciting game I saw in person was SK/Ryle. Great back and forth action plus the #1 seed aspect.

toss-up between Simon Kenton/Ryle and Beechwood/Newport Catholic. Both games were great. I'm sure that Highlands and Ryle was a good game a few nights ago, but didn't get to go to it.

I'll say the Ryle Sk game. Nothing better than seeing Sk lose.

Conner/Cooper!!! Conner's goal-line stand to go to the playoffs!
