We don't have our Bowling forum up and going yet but the KHSAA today sanctioned bowling as a winter sport beginning with the 2011-12 school year.

That's cool. I think bowling could really take off. I'm curious if it will be boys teams and girls teams, or will it be co-ed? I would think a new sport like this might be better suited for co-ed to start with.

I know there a few schools in NKY that have bowling teams.

 

Isn't Pikeville College one of the top bowling colleges in the country?

Not sure about Pikeville. Morehead used to be a perennial powerhouse in college bowling. I remember bowling many a game on that little 6-lane facility in the health building.

I'm as interested in the cheerleader routines as the bowling.
