The running game of the Mustangs, comes to a halt next Friday against W-Hills.

Great Jake be ready for Shotgun -no back this week. We have been saving it for you! Also you outta know better than to poke a bear with a stick. People who do that to the Stangs usually regret it.

Congrats to the Mustangs on not only going 2-0 in district play, but doing it all ON THE ROAD. Nobody gave NO much respect before the season, with many picking the 'Stangs to finish last in the district. Instead, North now has the opportunity to clinch their second district title in three years at home against Western Hills next week.

I really enjoy the fact that most of the posters use this forum to contribute insightful thoughts, analysis and bio on their teams and those they compete against.

 

Jake.... I don't know much about Western Hills so tried to do a little research into Hills football to see what your program is about. Unfortunately there is not a lot of info out there.

Too bad that all you decided to contribute to this thread is a juvenile "shot across the bow".

 

There's too many loud mouth sites out there already I would hate to see our forum go in that direction.

Jake how bout them Wildcats?? No comments on the Henry vs. Hills Thread?? North will emberass hills if they don't get off the computer and work on the field.

What exactly does this mean? Get off the computer and work on the field? You sound like you know all the specifics about the staff at Hills. Please do tell.

No! Just saying that Hills should not talk so strongly, do not think it had anything to do with the Hills staff. I do not know any of them or what they do, as an outsider I would say they do a pretty good job and have turned that program around.

A little talk is fine as long as it's in fun, and I think Jake is just having a little.

Do not take Jake as a "typical" Hills fan. Western Hills has struggled some this year with consistancy and finding an offensive identity. Against Henry Co Hills had the same problem as Henry had against North Oldham - 1st qrter turnovers and being down big to start the game. Hills has done a decent job of stopping the run (holding Thomas of East Jessamine to 100 yards under his average), but lack of offense and field position has really hurt. Last week Hills went back to the Spread with Slone (# 7) at Qb and played even with Henry Co after being down 27 points early. Slone had almost 300 yards passing and 4 TDs (1 rushing) in 3 quarters. Hills has the outside speed in Clay (# 6) and Pugh (# 1) to make some plays on both sides of the ball. Playing Slone at QB and MLB hurts Slone's ability to make plays on defense (where he is averaging over 11 tackles per game), but gives Hills the best opportunity to win. North Oldham will be a favorite, but if Hills can survive the 1st quarter it will be a close game. Hills knows that if they win, the worst that can happen is a 3 way tie for the district title.

Thanks for the beta on Hill's. I like you feel this has the potential to be a great game. A lot on the line for both teams.

 

Also know that I am certain Jake is a good Joe that just got a bit off track. I collect vintage guns and saw a great collector site forum become like a bunch of school girls gossiping and would hate to see this site not continue with quality input such as yours.
