Lynn Camp/Paintsville Updates

Pugh passes to TJ Freno for a touchdown on 3rd and 15 from the 21. Collett's PAT wide right. Paintsville 6- LC-0.

LC takes over at the 20 after Lipps kick goes over Chaffin at the 15 an into the endzone, but has to punt from the 36. Chaffin's punt goes to the Paintsville 18 but they run out to the 29 on one play. A good start for the Tigers with 6:00 mins. left in the first.

Pugh finishes the drive on a 16 yard TD run. 2 point conversion, Pugh tried to pass, saw nothing, ran it in. P 14 LC 0 just over 4:00 left in the first quarter.

Chaffin takes this kickoff but is stopped at the 15. Chaffin carries to the 27 for a first down, next play another first to the 39, where Scalf fumbles but recovers himself on first down. Chaffin gains 2 on second down, 3rd and 9 play is from the shotgun. Scalf throws out of bounds. Punt on 4th and 9 from the LC 40. Chaffin's punt out of bounds at the 30, first down Tigers.

First quarter ends with Paintsville facing 3rd and 8 from the 44 (the first down came on a Wes Ward 12 yard carry). Still P- 14 LC-0.

Offsides on Paintsville makes it 3rd and 13. Lynn Camp leave wide receiver Lipps alone, LC coach notices it and calls time out just before the snap (Pugh did take it and complete the pass).

Pugh is sacked by Anthony Walters on third down. Lipps' punt rolls to the LC 29, first down Wildcats after Paintsville's first punt of the game.

LC makes the first down to the 43 on 3rd and 1 from the 39 on Roskoff (sp?) carry. Reynolds carries to Tiger 43 for another first down. ROdney Smith carries to 33, another first down.

 

On 3rd and 4 from the 27, Reynolds gets to the 21 for another first down. Nice drive by LC.

And on the next play Josh Reynolds carries it in for the TD. PAT by Mitchell is good . P- 14, LC-7, 5:54 in the half.

Pugh completes to JD VanHoose who makes it to the Paintsville 45. Two runs to LC 48, on third down trips right from shotgun Pugh runs down to the 29. Pugh pitches to Freno on the option, he takes it in for the TD. PAT by Collett good. 3:25 left in the half, 21-7 Paintsville.

Lynn Camp makes two first downs after almost losing the kickoff. 2:20 left in the half. A penalty moves them back to 1st and 15 on their 39.

 

Sack by Mitchell makes in 3rd and 22, Scalf completes to Roscoff to the 38, 4th and 16, Paintsville takes the TO with 17 seconds in half. Pugh runs with 5 secs left, takes it over 60 yards for the TD after seemingly stopped on the 46 by 3 defenders. Collett PAT good, his school record 52nd of the season.

 

At the half, Paintsville 28 Lynn Camp 7.
