Is Holmes a legitimate threat to Boyle if those two end up meeting in the region championship of the playoffs?

 

Obviously Holmes would have to get by Lexcath in round 2, but is Lexcath down enough that Holmes would beat them this year?

I'm pretty sure that last year if Holmes had beaten Lex Cath we would have traveled to northern Kentucky. That would mean this year is our district's turn (Catholic or Boyle) to host round #3.

Here is and example of how comparable scores can be misleading....

This would make you think that the Knox / Middlesboro game should be a great one....right?

Matchups and schemes mean so much in football that one team may be a great fit for another team but completely out of their game against another team.
