Final

Missed extra points were big in this game.

Hard fought game for both teams! Game went down to the last seconds.

Must have been a good game for the Bearcats under the Friday night lights in Verona.

Carroll County has been laying some wallops on some folks!

What has happened to Carroll? Walton, in my opinion is not that good this year? Owen handled them pretty easily.

Walton is alot better than last year. Owen did not play Owen this year except for a scrimmage. Hard to tell alot from scrimmage with both teams not running a full playbook. Walton has been in every game this year but has had miscues that hurt them in spots.

Walton is very much an up and coming team that means business. No loss is a good loss, but a one point loss to a talented Carroll Co team shows goes down in the :thumb: column for me.

Congrats to the Panthers.

It was a great night at Walton last night under the lights. A standing room only crowd, new lights, great atmosphere!!! I'm working on the Video and Audio of the game and should have it up tomorrow (Sunday). Both teams being running teams, the game went along quickly. Carroll took a 7-6 score to the half, and added 14 more in the third to make it 21-6. Walton came back with 14 unanswered and had the ball at game end, but could not get down the field quick enough.

Really impressed with Carson Butcher for Carroll. 219 yards through some tough sledding up the middle. Nolan Brown, Zach MacAdams and Andrew Baumgardner split running duties for the Bearcats. Walton will be o.k. no doubt. I agree with TB&G, the Bearcats are very much up and coming. The tools are in place and playing this type of game will only get them better. They just need to get over the hump.

Congrats to Carroll going 4-1. A bye week and then Trimble County.
