Raceland was penalized heavily in the 1st half, had over 100yds in penalties at the half if I heard the radio crew right. ECHS also was penalized alot. I guess the officials were practicing for the "yellow flag toss" competition in the next olympics

You're not alone, OR.

LCA had 14 penalties for 151 yds. down @ Breathitt.

Breathitt had 5 penalties for 50 yds.

Oh, well. Something to work on this week.

Congratulations to Tyler Farley and Scotty Craft for a school record tying 95 yard TD pass play at the end of the 1st Qtr. It tied the mark set by Scott Grizzle to Brad Rogers in 2004.

Just a little info on the little guys playing today in Grayson. The 3rd, 5th and 6th grade JFL all won today over East Carter. I didn't hear anything on the 4th grade. GO RAMS

Hopefully the freshmen can keep the winning ways going on Monday.

We lost our kicker tonight, fractured right ankle. Get well soon, Mr. Risner.

Hate to hear of anyone getting hurt. Thoughts and prayers fro heat in Bell County.

I had forgotten to mention earlier in this thread that it was youth football night at EC last Friday. Kudos to ECHS for doing this :thumb:. those little guys really love it. I know that JFL night at Raceland is a big deal.

Youth football,JFL and all of these programs are where our high school programs start. Raceland, Ashland and Russell I know all have JFL programs and all have good high school programs. ECHS has had some pretty good football teams in the past and with programs like this it is no doubt they will in the future.
