September 23, 201016 yr GT, how good is Kilpatrick? Saw a few videos of him on youtube and I have a feeling this kid is going to be extremely good for the Cats over the next few years. I think expectations might be a little high for his first year, but Sean is going to have an excellent career at UC. He's a very efficient scorer who can quietly put up 12-15 points before you really notice he has done much. I think most importantly is he is a natural leader on the floor and the program has really missed that since Mick arrived. If he can get to 7-8 ppg this year I will be pleased...
September 23, 201016 yr Sanders looks like a strong kid. He isn't your prototypical 6'4 "lanky" guard. Sanders is a more skilled version of Bishop. Watched him quite a bit in AAU ball and I love his game. He should have a huge senior season at Rice...

Savino is paying dividends for UC right now with his recruiting ties to the New York and NJ area. One thing UC has lacked since the Bob Huggins days is toughness....these kids should bring that back to the UC program.
September 28, 201016 yr How many scholly's do they have left to give now? 2 more. Either a PG and a power type big or two more bigs...
September 28, 201016 yr Just read where Florida State received a commitment from shooting guard Aaron Thomas out of Cincinnati. FSU did not accept his commitment. Couple that with the Sanders commit and it is clear why UC backed off...
September 30, 201016 yr Author UC's 2011 class is shaping up to be a pretty good one. 6'6 Shaquille Thomas (Top 150) 6'4 Jermaine Sanders (Top 150) 6'8 Octavious Ellis (Scouts have said he has great potential) 6'3 Ge'Lawn Guyn (Top 150 until this past season) If they can get Eli Carter at the pg position, they will have a very solid 5 for this class. Both ESPN and I believe Scout have them as a top 25 class right now for 2011, with just those 4.

October 2, 201016 yr Author They quit recruiting Carter yesterday... Why? Who else is UC in on for 2011?
