Hey, I said the same thing in about a thousand less words . . . .

Nice condensed break down... :D

I'd sit Spiller. Hightower should get plenty of carries this week so I'd go with him.

Hightower has at least proven he can produce some fantasy numbers, if Wells is out hes going to be the number one guy. Spiller has all the talent in the world, but there are two proven backs on the depth chart outside of him and this is his first game against a pretty good Dolphins D. The decision may bite me, but if it was me I would sit Spiller until he proved he can put up the numbers.

I had sort of the same dilemma this week. In one league I could start two rb's and a flex, my two RB's for sure were CJ and Shonn Greene. That left me with Matt Forte, Reggie Bush, and Darren McFadden for the flex spot (because I wanted to start a RB there too). McFadden had no shot at starting because like I mentioned above, I must see him do something before I ever think about starting him, same for Bush. Forte although with a down year last year because of injuries, was a consensus top 5 RB pick last year, I had to start him this week and as Thursdays game started and Bush had a decent first quarter I was doubting myself, but I think the decision will work out in my favor.

So when in doubt, play who has proven themselves. As good as Spiller is he is unproven at this point. He may blow up and be the best back in fantasy this year but in week one its not worth the risk. Thats how I look at it anyway. Hope this helps.

The more I think about it and read these posts, Spiller obvious choice to sit. Thanks for the help everyone.

If Wells is out Hightower is a must play.

I can still take Wells out of my lineup for the BGP league can't I? I guess I'll be going 3-Wide this week if I can.
