From what I've seen (and I've not seen the SK punter) the 2 best punters in NKY are Hempel and CCH's punter.

Rabe's punts have alot of hang time. I just found out Sage Powell didn't play because of a bruised shoulder.

SK finished with 83 yards rushing. Crane had 30 yards, Lawrence had 37 yards and Baldwin had 16 yards the run game is making progress. Lawrence stayed in the pocket most the game he could have finished well over 100 yards if he took off. Lawrenced passed 15 for 25 173 yards 3 TDs sorry I thought he threw 4 but one was a run.

Is this the kid that started at Simon and then went to Beechwood last year?

Yes it is. He went to Beechwood two years ago. Played DB for them. Did not play last year. I think he went back to S.K. in the middle of last year.

Rabe has had some booming punts this season. He's also had a few short punts, the 50 yard bomb he had in the first half tilted the field.

I am pleased to see SK win the last two games after the beating they took with the Middies. A definite confidence booster!

The young man's name is Mitch McDowell and he is a junior. When Talkers (junior also) uniform didn't meet specks just after the CovCath 1st TD, McDowell came in a hit the PAT and then for good measure, kicked the ball into the end zone on the insuring kickoff.

BTW I believe that the combination Talkers/McDowell hit every kickoff into the end-zone sans one today and that single one the CovCath special teams stopped Campbell County on the 11 yard line!

Chad Lawrence threw 4 TDS easy win!

I sure hope so. New Richmond is the Cooper of NKY. Sk gets a real test this week against Clay.

Game got a little too close for comfort when New Richmond ate six minutes off the clock to cut the lead to 11-6. A few plays later Riley goes 54 yards on the reception and the game was as good as over. SK played much better in the second half, too many turnovers in the first half. Jarhead earlier this week compared NR to Lloyd, and my guess is they are better than the Juggs. They had a nice squad and on intense coach. In the 3rd quarter SK had a 4th and 3, Lawrence under center with the hard count, draws NR offside. The NR coach starts giving the white hat all type of lip, telling him that Lawrence was bobbing his head to draw the penalty. The next thing you know he's telling the white hat he's going to send him a copy of the tape, the white hat replied, "Send it to the address on the back of the card we gave you". It was very funny stuff.

SK heads to Lexington to face Henry Clay next Friday, sure to be a tough game for the Neers.

You must been on the field to hear that conversation. Good stuff! I often wonder what coaches say to refs on the field when things dont go their way!
