I know. I want a solid #1 QB and Kolb just doesn't do it for me. You'd think he'd be all over this trade.

Here's my logic. First off, I have Arian Foster my bench who I like a lot this year as a flex play, and I really don't want him on my bench. Next, I'm really not feeling that great about Reggie Wayne this year, so I wanted either Andre Johnson or Randy Moss. I offered up Reggie Wayne and Pierre Thomas for Randy Moss and Marion Barber because I knew the guy I was trading with wasn't going to take just any even trade before the season for his first round pick and I knew I'd have to give up a little extra. He didn't even want to do that. Then I said I'd throw in Mike Wallace along with those two, just so he'd do it. And he said he would. Here's the final trade.

 

Send - Reggie Wayne

Send - Pierre Thomas

Send - Mike Wallace

Receive - Randy Moss

Receive - Marion Barber

 

Clearly on paper it looks like I'm getting screwed, but as far as my lineup goes, I'm taking out Pierre, putting in Foster, taking out Wayne and putting in Moss. Remember, Brady is my quarterback, so that also helps my decision. Not to mention they looked in 2007 form in the preseason and it brainwashed me.
