Louisville Holy Cross seems to be on somewhat of a roll the first 2 weeks of the season and looks like a team to be reckoned with in 1A this year . What are their chances against another higher class school ? Cross plays their biggest rival the following week in Desales . Could they be looking ahead ? Predictions please ................................

 

I'll say Cross 42 - Moore 12 .....................

The rushing totals for Holy Cross could break some records in this one.

Judging from the KHSAA scoreboard and stats vs. two teams that I figured to be decent on defense...Id say HC will roll for about 1000 or so yds rushing.

Anyone see Moore play this year? Scores do not always represent the team!

Big and slow very little to be concerned with this week for HC

Their jv were not slow.

Moore isn't big or slow - but their defense executed very poorly in their opening loss (56-18) to North Oldham, when North rushed for over 600 yards, one of the top totals in state history. Zach Evans ran for over 260 yards, Austin Crawley ran for over 100, and a third back just missed the century mark.

 

Until Moore gets their defense on the same page, schools like HC are going to duplicate what North did on a weekly basis...

 

Holy Cross wins this one handily, 49-14.

 

Offensively, Moore is a big play team, with three tall/fast receivers and a strong-armed QB. It wouldn't surprise me to see Moore put up a bunch of points in this game - but I think HC will still be able to outcore them easily.

Holy Cross should win this one with ease . They need to focus on the present though as Desales is waiting in the wings for next week's big showdown . It will be interesting to see if Holy Cross has matured as much as people say and see if they are focused tonight . I am sticking with 42-12 . A tough showing by Moore would do good to keep Holy Cross 'honest' going into next week .

I hope HC takes each and every game one @ a time as all games are different on different days. I am hopeful for a focused Moore to keep HC on their toes! Thanks for info ColonelMike.
