My preseason Top 10:

 

1) Ft Campbell - maybe not as good as the last 3 yrs, but, they are the team to beat till someone in 2a proves they can beat em. Have to start out at #1...

2) Murray - have alot returning and I think they can replace there 2 playmakers. The Tigers always have good athletes and they'll find a couple to go along with a stout line and experienced D...

3) Monroe Co - may be the most complete 2a team from top to bottom with alot of depth to boot...

4) Desales - lost alot of key contributors, but, has built a solid program that has solid #s, so, should be able to find a few quality kids to go along with some talented returnees...

5) NCC - talented skill players with experience. needs to find a couple of solid linemen to contribute and play well and should be able to as they also posess solid #s...

6) Trigg Co - were very young lasy year and return key players in key positions and play a rugged schedule that'll have them prepared well for whatever 2a throws at em...

7) Corbin - they will likely be down from last year, but, Corbin is Corbin and are always a tough out and have players that know how to play the game...

8) CAL - coming off a solid season with several key returnees should bode well for them this year. have the potential to climb even higher, but, till they actually do, am tempering the expectations...

9) Holy Cross - another team that should challenge NCC for the district crown. have gotten better and better each year and beginning to play with more confidence and consistency...

10) Danville - coming off a horrendous season for there standards, I expect Harp will have this team turned around pretty quickly...

 

Other teams to keep an eye on: Prestonsburg, Shelby Valley, Caldwell Co, Bardstown, Green Co, Middlesboro, OBoro Cath, Hancock Co, Glasgow, Lloyd Mem...

How does Trigg look? I know they got progressively better throughout the year and were relatively young. Could they be a sleeper to upset Murray in the District/Region?

Trigg is young but talented at the skill positions. Their line needs some development quick. I dont know if they have enough for Murray but it's a rivalry game so who knows.

 

Three other teams to watch out for because they have a ton back are Glasgow, Owensboro Catholic, and Bardstown

NewCath has a LOT of offensive weapons back. The issue comes down to ability to block and the ability to throw the ball. They lose a ton off of their line, and their passing game was not very good (that has a lot to do with a young QB and he will be much better this year.)

 

59% completion rate with a lot of drops wasn't bad for a sophmore. 11 ints. and a ton of bad snaps killed them too. last years experience should realy help this teem.

His name is Jack and last time I heard he was 6'10" 370 and performed well at UK's camp.
