Most of my formative years were spent in the 60s. However, our children were born in 1980 and 1990 (I've always maintained that the Census workers ought to earn their keep), so I watched a bunch of these shows with them. In no particular order:

Ren and Stimpy (my favorite) Don't whizz on the electric fence!

Beavis and Butthead

Keenan and Kel

Clarissa Explains it All

Hey Arnold, Doug, Arghh Real Monsters. Hey Dude, Rocko's Modern Life were regulars for us. Watched CatDog and The Angry Beavers, but they weren't as good.

The primetime shows we watched on a regular basis were Northern Exposure, Picket Fences, St. Elsewhere, Cosby Show, Cheers, Frasier, Seinfeld, and that show about the little airport in Massachusetts (I think).

"Wings" is what you're looking for. I believe it was supposed to be based on Nantucket Island. Great show.

I used to love that show. I saw an episode a month or two ago and I have to say that it was not nearly as good as I remembered...

The Simpsons.

:thumb: Doh!

I also think SNL had a great run in the 90's...

That's it. Sadly, the memory is only one of the things that start to deteriorate when you're on the wrong side of 50.

First time I saw Tony Shaloub was on that show.

That was pretty much the first time anybody saw him -- at least in a notable role -- as far as I know. (Although I barely recall him from a guest spot on an X-Files episode.)
