Lets see Boone County runs every play. SK's offense mixes the run and pass up plus Chad Lawrence got his share of runs for over a 1160 yards and 12 TDs if Miles would have got them carries his stats would be better than Alexander.

If SK had someone like Shaun Alexander they would have ran every play too. It's not like Alexander just woke up one day and magically became good enough to lead the NFL in rushing. To get an offer from Bama he must have been pretty good in HS. Considering you're the only person who thinks the two should even be compared (let alone the face that you think Simpson is better), I think it's safe to say Alexander was better in HS, and has always been the better player of the two.

If that team isn't a top 5 team I'll stop watching college football. I don't know what ND will have next season but they're going to have to have a very, very good team, National Title good to beat the Canes in 2011-12.

They only thing you can prove is Alexander had better single season and career numbers then Miles Simpson. Alexander was a higher rated recruit then Simpson. Alexander had offers and went to a better football school then Simpson. The only person in this thread claiming Simpson is better then Alexander is a SK fan.

July 28, 201016 yr Here is Miles Simpson's career stats 4,953 rushing yards averaged 8.4 yards a carry 91 TDs 11 PATs. On defense he had 69 tackles and 9 INTs. Anybody know Alexander's highschool stats I am pretty sure he didn't even play defense.
