August 9, 201016 yr Went through the same decision in late 2006...test drove and researched the Fusion, Malibu, Accord, Camry, Sonata, Aura, Galant, Altima, Alero, and one I can't remember... Picked the 2007 Sonata and haven't been disappointed. It's a fantastic car my wife has put nearly 75,000 miles on in a little over 3 years, and we haven't had the first problem. If we do, we have a fantastic warranty to cover it. Lower cost than the others, comparable performance, and - the 2007 model - had far greater interior room. If you're looking for a dependable car, the Hyundai looks solid.
