Bell County Football (Urgent!!)

Featured Replies

Hatz I believe that the problem is that it seems that with winning a state title just 2 seasons ago that there isn't much interest from adminstration on the side of football. There have been several coaches that have left the program to take other jobs such as head coaching and just moved on to make a name for themselves and no one is blaming them. They haven't been replaced. There are any other concerns about our program for the future. I just hope that people will stay focused for the season at hand. Bell County is going to have a really good team this season. I just hope that everyone gets behind them. Go Bobcats! I hope that I have answered some of the questions that seem to be of concern. I wasn't at the meeting talked to a few that were there I think that there will be some more things to come of this I will try to keep everyone posted the best that I can.

Thanks Commander. Good detail without pointing fingers.

Bell football deserves more support because they've "earned it." You guys are going to have one of the better teams in the state this year and like you, I hope the kids don't let this sidetrack them from what should be a continuation of a great run in Bobcat Football. Good luck Commander and I hope our teams see each other again.

Thanks I am not going to point any just have to make the best of it. Maybe things can change for the future and I think that has to start now. What is done is done. Going to have to make the best of it and hope for the best foe the future of the Bobcat football program. And I sure hope that we do meet again. I think that it will be another classic game.

We can feel your pain at Lawrence Co. They let the best basketball coach in the history of the school and the most influential coach of men I've ever been around walk. I've probably won as many games as a player/coach as anybody ever there and still haven't been paid for last year. I wouldn't care that much if I didn't feel like I've robbed my two little kids. It's sad that there is a lack of support in places where people love their kids/schools.

For what it's worth I got to spend some time with a friend who took a job with the state last year. He's pretty high up and left a nice job. It is driving him nuts working in Frankfort seeing how things actually opporate. Unfortunatly the whole country is in a pinch. KY is in a bigger pinch. Our part of KY is in an even bigger pinch. Polaticians preach education then get in office and make class sizes bigger expecting results. It's all a joke.

I feel like Bell is preseason top 2 in the state. It's too bad if you all aren't getting support there. I was able to spend the week down there for the Mountain Laural festival when my girlfriend in college was in it. Great people and a lot of passion from the small town there/Pineville. I wish you all the best of luck in getting some support.
