Ok, then my sleepers in NKY this yr will be Campbell Cty and Holmes. Both teams are loaded with talent and are very, very well coached. This could be Holmes yr to do some damage and surprise some people as Coach Lickerts kids have bought into his program and as far as Campbell Cty goes, this Sr class is the same class that lets just say handled the Birds back in the Frosh days and with the addition of new offensive coordinator Kevin Siple (formerly of Indian Hill, Cinti OH) the Camels may lead the State in alot of offensive categories this yr. I thing both of those programs qualify. JMO, 20n10

 

I remember watching a lot of the Camels play as 8th graders, and you could tell that they were extremely talented. However, it seems to be typical Camels, solid players in JR. High remain solid, but the depth around them never develops. They need to start developing their players.

Campbell Co. is a tough distict year in and out, but It would be great to see them make a big run in the playoffs.

I'll give my "Dark Horse", and before I do, I want to warn all the fans of 1A football - don't laugh. This may catch some of you all off guard and you may think the old Boss has lost it, but here goes:

Now some of you may be thinking "what". But, it seems that Fairview has got themselves some new students from Huntington West Virgina, three I think. It will take a lot for them to beat out Raceland and Lexington Christian, but if I had to pick a Dark Horse - Fairview would be it.
