First off I know this is not the Conner/Dixie thread but since these were posted in this thread I want to address them.

 

Like I said, it was the only time I saw him this year and it may have been a bad outting. He just did not seem to throw very hard and St. Henry hit him pretty good. A few of the players told me he wasn't as good as everyone always said he was. Maybe it was just a bad game for him, like I said before.

 

Sexton puts the ball low to mid 80's and can pump high 80's at times. St. Henry didn't hit him well by the way. Sexton got wild and walked quite a few of the batters on base. Big difference. Sexton has been pretty lights all year with an ERA around 1.00 for the majority of it.

Can't tell you who the pitching coaches are for the others team but for Dixie both Coach Maxwell and Coach Odom (named 9th region assistant coach of the year) help with the pitchers.

Mid to high 80's in a NKY HS game and someone thinks he doesn't throw very hard. Wow.

Remember though, at the beginning of the year there are atleast 10 kids that throw 90 based on what someone saw in winter work outs

I guss I didn't make myself clear when I said I only saw him once and he didn't impress me. He may very well be a very good pitcher, but did not have a good game when I was there. Not once did I say he didn't throw hard or that he was a bad pitcher. One game he threw and I was at he struggled. That is all.

I normally don't post much on here and this is why. I was just quoting what the kid told me himself. Don't think I will do it again. Sorry.

Unless I am reading this wrong you did state that he didn't throw very hard.

He did not seem to throw hard. The game I was at, he did not seem to throw hard. Obviously since everyone is jumping all over what I said he had an off game when I was there. Terribly sorry I offended everyone by not being impressed with him that game.
