If you bring a chair the only place you can use it and see the entire field is in left field. There is no place to sit in a chair down either 1st or 3rd baseline due to the bleacher, dugouts and wind screen on the fence. Behind home plate is out too because of the concession stand.

 

Scott High School held region last year and i enjoyed the seating,parking,concessions there. Is Clark County's bleachers and seating similar,worse,better? This makes a big difference when you have to drive an hour and a half. Thanks for any comments and comparisons

I have never been to Scott High's field, so I can't comment or compare the two. I like bring my chair so I don't have to sit on the bleachers and Like I said above, unless you like sitting in left field there's no need to bring a chair. There won't be in issue's with the playing surface as Coach Allison does an out standing job with field maintenance. Be sure to let me know what you think about the back stop and screen over home plate.

I'm presently in Canada fishing and somewhat out of the loop.

 

So when do we get a fishing update?

Arrived here on May 12th and the fishing has been fantastic ever since. Biggest pike is 36 inches. Limiting out on walleye on a regular basis, and the smallmouth bass fisherery here has to among the best in the world. Our largest smallie is 19 1/2 inches but the size and consistency of the catch has been incredible.

Catching everything on artificial, most of the hogs on topwater, which makes it twice as much fun.

The only thing we keep are walleyes. All of the pike and smallies go back.

Even caught three 10 pound channel cats yesterday which is really rare.

Weather here has been excellent compared to last year. Water temperature very warm at 70.

Past the half way mark on the trip - should be back by June 12th.

I was working in the yard so only caught bits and pieces between weedeating, but Bell i think pitched for GRC and Vann (?) pitched for C county. I think C County made a pitching change in bottom of the 7th, but regardless GRC hung in there to get the win. From the announcer on the radio, several players for both teams made good defensive plays, so it sounds like it was a real good HS baseball game.
