Edwin Schultz, 65, lost his long, valiant battle with cancer on Monday morning.

 

Coach Schultz had been a member of the Brossart baseball staff since 1996 and was Bob Rowe's top assistant from day one.

 

He was also an avid Brossart basketball fan, attending every home game until restricted by his disease.

 

He was a loyal, dedicated, supporter of our sports and our players and will be missed.

 

Funeral arrangements incomplete at this time.

Our prayers go to the Schultz family. My understanding is visitation will be at Cooper Funeral Home Wednesday evening 4-8 with Servcies at St. Joseph Camp Springs 10:30 AM Thursday Morning.

More tragedy for the Brossart Sports family. Prayers for his family and the entire Brossart community from on the Hilltop. We lost a great one in Assistant Baseball Coach Coach Ronnie Herrington in October 2006 and it is just not the same after losing such a fine person. I know Coach Herrington is missed and Coach Schultz will be missed as well.

God Bless Coach Schultz. He was a very kind man and he will be missed. :cry:
