I loved "The Party Pit"! That's new since the last time I was in Vegas. IMO they are trying to distract the player to take their money, but fun to watch.

T minus 16 days and counting!! Booked some reservations. One for Lowry's the Prime Rib place and the other for Smith and Wollensky's. Booked a show too, Le Reve. I might as well reserve a place at the craps table lol

It's hard to put my finger on it. To me, it's like someone took Times Square and stretched it out into an entire town. Everything is bright and flashy but lacking in any real character.

 

I can understand how that's appealing to some people: there's always something to do and things to see. I did Vegas as part of a larger trip to the Grand Canyon, Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Maybe it deserves another shot when I'm not comparing it with those.

Me and the wife went to the "Lion King" show and it was wonderful! Also went to see Lance Burton as this is his last year. He was really good. Lance is leaving around Sept. and moving back home to Adair County.

This time next week I will be liv'n the high life.........well budget life, but I will be in Las Vegas rolling the dice. Can't wait!!!
