Lets back up for a second. What do you mean he "turned them away?"

UK had called earlier in the week and told him they wanted to look at him. He said great I pitch on Saturday. They made arrangements to come up and watch. Well Friday night, Brice decided to commit to Morehead so he called UK up and told them not to come.

Thanks for clearing that up Club.

Thanks. I had heard that Coach Henderson was interested in learning more about him.

It is somewhat surprising to hear someone pick Morehead over UK. I would venture a guess that there was going to be a vast difference in the scholarship amounts offered and that Morehead through up a number that he simply knew UK would not be able to match.

Congrats to him though. He's a darn fine pitcher.

I'm guessing he will have better opportunities to pitch at MSU vs UK and yes money comes into play sometimes. Looks like the MSU pitching staff needs some help based on the ERA's posted on their website... should be a nice fit for him.

MSU will also need to replace another Colonel as I hear Matt Nichols is transferring to play at NKU next season.
