Anybody have any results from the meet today?? I know Cov Cath went in a little short handed with guys on spring break, so am curious how they did.

Highlands Girls and Campbell County Boys won the meet. Well organized event with lots of teams.

More than a NKY meet, teams from Lex Cath and Trinity were there. Great day for the meet. Congrats to the winners.

Trinity had runners there but it seemed like a small team. I noticed James Quick's name in the program for the 200m but I did not see him there.

Wow a little surprised at the poor showing by Cov Cath initially, but then looking at the guys who ran, they were obviously short handed. Good to see a number of the frosh and soph get some experience running in a varsity meet. Good job guys!

I was told by one of the kid, that about half the team was on spring break.

They also had a couple of kids not 100%.

Connelly won the high jump, but had minor surgery and not 100%

One of their top throwers was not feeling well, on Friday was sick in bed with a fever.

ALL in all they did better than excepted.

I totally agree. When you look at the results sheet, you do not see many of the normal varsity point guys listed, so it is great to see the young guys get the experience.

Michael Bowdy wins the Long Jump and third in the High jump Congrats Mike!

 

Glad to see him having success! Good athlete and nice young man.

 

How about the young man from Cov. Latin winning the 100 m dash? He beat Raglin from Lex Cath who I have seen run. Very impressive win for the Cov Latin program.
