4pointplay Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Great start to the season for Holmes! Not easy to field a good baseball team at Holmes.
nkychamp21 Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Holmes has to be put into consideration for a Regional Championship and possibly a strong state contender if they keep playing like this. :ylsuper:

cooperstown Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Who is the name of the Holmes' pitcher that threw agaisnt Newport? What year is he? Did he pitch varsity last year and, if so, how did he fare? Regional championship and state championship probably not in the cards for the Bulldogs this year, but they just might turn out to be a thorn in someone's side in the 35th district. Not just a 3-horse race this year.

Not just a 3-horse race this year. I believe the kid who pitched against Newport is SR Tommy Courtney. Big kid at 6'1-6'2 225. He also started middle LB for the football team the past two seasons. Not sure how he fared last year but Wells may know.
