More Women Buying Guns

Featured Replies

I have never quite understood why someone needs to carry a concealed weapon, unless of course it is to combat another someone else who is carrying a weapon.

I know I'll catch some heat on BGP for that, but I have never understood it, nor do I have any desire to own a gun. For hunting purposes, I understand. But to carry a concealed weapon? I don't get it.

I feel it's a safety issue. I personally do not own a gun yet, but as soon as I get my own place, I'll be getting a handgun for protection purposes.

Protection from....other people with handguns?

The intruder that may try and break into my house....

One reason I'm for tougher gun laws.

I hope this man is charged with manslaughter, or something even more serious.

This child's mother had told him to remove the guns from the house 2 weeks ago.

What about intruders who may try to break into your current home?

Who cares if she told him to remove the guns? They weren't hers.

12 and 14 year old boys should be smart enough to know not to play with guns IMO.

What if he's not home and took it with him?

We could play the what if game all night....

There has been a string of break-ins in my very rural area lately. I feel much more secure with my .38 special just a few steps away.

There were a series on our street about 3-4 months ago...My roommate purchased his gun shortly after.
