Anderson doesn't provide free scouting reports by reporting stats. I can understand your frustrations as a fan not knowing stats but it's the coaches decision to report them or not.

Don't care if he does I just wanted to know the answer to a fans question. I'll settle for ann educated guess from someone who watches Anderson on a regular basis.

Brown is a starter who plays starter minutes. She had 2 fouls in the 1st quarter last night. That's the reason she sit so long in the 2nd. Just as any player, her minutes will vary depending on her foul situation and how she is playing.

Brown is not the one you should worry about. Eriel McKee is the one that can hurt you. With the pressure that SK has on defense and you force them left they will struggle to handle the ball.

Of the girls who played the one spot throughout this game, I did not see where it was "apparent" the defense was too much pressure they could not handle. The problem could have been not taking more outside shots as opposed to relying and hoping the 4 and 5 spot girls to work on points inside......which did not happen.....what, 12 missed "up and close" shots. If your going to call out one position in this game thinking not having a "quarterback" perhaps cost them this game. (why else would you bring this up) when these girls have had an awesome record breaking season, then all I can say is....you obviously haven't seen many of WV games this year.

Number 45 had 4 fouls already, not sure why 40 didn't - she only had 2 or 3 fouls.

I would think he would want to get his kids the recognition they deserve by reporting the stats. I hear that reporting the stats to the KHSAA is not required until the end of the season. Is this the way it works?

you're not required to report stats unless you make it to the state tournament.

 

 

As far as recognition, that's the flipside of the argument, although it really doesn't seem to have effected the Anderson kids in the last several years.
