If your team is the one holding the ball and wins over a much more talented team then it can be a lot of fun to watch.

 

But more importantly:

 

Is the point of the game to please those watching or is the point of the game to apply strategy that allows a team the best chance to win?

 

An 8 minute shot clock is already in place and is working fine in my opinion.

Shot clock is not needed just leave the game be.

I agree with this statement 100%. But I do not feel it has anything to do with "slow" ball. I think it has to do with:

1. ticket prices. Students should be $1.00 at the door and .50 if purchased at school.

2. X-box, PSP, Playstation, Wii, etc.

3. Lack of school spirit. How many schools have Pep rallies? I have heard that pep rallies take away from the "educational" day, yet when we get our jobs we have team buliding exercises, moral building exercises, etc. hence PEP RALLIES for the adult.

 

CORRECT... I can think of no better example than the 10th REGION tournament last night. While Pendleton had their entire section filled Montgomery may have had 20 students. Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like the driving distance to Mason is about the same for each, and I'm thinking that Montgomery is what a 5 or 6A school while Pendleton is not. Even the next game Brossart didn't pack their section either. I remember going to the tourney at the fieldhouse and sitting way up in the tippy top corner because there weren't anymore seats.
