NBA Trade

How much sense does the trade of Amare for Beasley make for both teams? No brainer if you ask me. It's not a rumor per say. Just something Ford from ESPN put out there.

That trade should have both teams salivating IMO. Amare is the better player, but if Beasley is ever going to succeed at a high level in the NBA it will be in a system like the Suns IMO. I think it would leave the Heat a little bare for a huge run at the championship this season, but they could probably resign Wade and Amare with room for a few other nice (but obviously not superstar) players to fill out the roster.

They could actually afford Bosh or LBJ next summer along w/ those The new talk is the Cavs are in heated negotiations for Amare. The Cavs and the Heat have to do everything they can to keep the 2 superstars.

They can but it's not likely. The Cavs can offer James more, and who ever Amare or Bosh end the season can offer them more than the Heat would be able to do because of Bird rights. So in theory they could get all three, but that would require Wade and two other superstars taking a pay cut to around 17 million a piece (probably less) and the Heat would be left with absolute garbage around them. I think the projected cap is around 52-57 million, so they'd have to be around 15 million a piece (Amare wouldn't do that I don't think).

I know what they said on ESPN, but 3 super stars won't be able to align with one coming in free agency I don't think. They would have to do some sign and trades. I definitely see either Bosh or Amare in Miami, but there is no way James isn't going to get paid IMO or the Cavs would do a sign and trade. The Cavs would probably fold (seriously) or have to move if LeBron left.

That would be a home run for he Rockets.

The first trade has obviously fallen through.

Instead: Mavericks get- Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood, DeShawn Stevenson.

Wizards get- Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, Quinton Ross, James Singleton.

Alot of buzz on ESPN about Amare to the Cavs for JJ Hickson, a 1st round pick and some expiring contracts. If that goes down, I will really feel good about the Cavs chances at a title.
