Best pitchers in the 10th

Featured Replies

Nathan Mutsch out of Brossart is very good too. Throws some heat...

Heard he got invited to a Yankee's predraft camp this summer--Good luck Nath, and watch out for those cheap shots in hoops!!

You certainly have since he is all you talk about. Scott might have 2 of the top 10 with Scott Best and Jon Swanson. If they pitch like they can there might not be a better 1-2 in the tenth. They anchor a staff that could go up to 11 deep.

wow if you are going to talk about Scott's staff dont forget about Jr Arrin Bush. I bet the kid throws low 80's. But he gets out of control sometimes and gets behind. But yeah Scott will have a very solid staff. The best as i would say. I could name 7 on the top of my head. When you only lose one pitcher and lose to the regional champs in regionals you know you will be good pitching wise

I'd put up Hurd and Robertson from Campbell County as one of the better 1-2 punches in the 10th.

From what i hear, along with everyone else, Mutsch throws absolute smoke. I believe from what i hear that he would be the top pitcher in the 10th this year. He plays on the Kentucky Colonels summer team and he is monster. He's everybit of 6'5, he should be throwin gas.

My dark horse in the 10th this year is Junior Dustin Lewis RHP from Harrison County

Scotts 3rd maybe 4th beat Robertson.

I did say one of the better, not the best 1-2 punches, didn't I?

wow that is very funny, very true.. wasn't it a :walk: in the park

So that would make top 2 better than CC if there 3rd beat there 2nd

All I'm saying is that I think Hurd and Robertson are one of the better 1-2 combinations in he 10th region. I'm not trying to debate how good either is or if Scott has something better. I think that Hurd and Robertson are a decent combo.

Bennett from GRC looked good at times last year but only threw against 2 quality teams. Looked solid against Boyd but was rocked by Henry Clay. The six errors Baller mentioned didn't help but honestly HC hit the ball hard on him. Hope he gets consistent this year. GRC will need him . But.........GRC IS deep with pitching.

Robertson didn't pitch against Scott last year! I have seen Scott's pitchers and I would take the Camels 3rd and 4th over any of them. You are in for a rude awakening when Scott starts play in the 10th this year. A lot of teams could win it but Scott isn;t one of them.

I disagree...
