George Rogers Clark 86 Harrison County 29

Featured Replies

Harrison could very well win their district. This has got to be one of the worst losses in school history.

I think GRC is showing why they are the #1 team in the 10th and clear cut favorites to make it to Rupp.

Embarassing with a capital M. Wow.

Anyone have details on the game other than stats?

There is probably nothing more that needs to said when it is a 57 point spread.

I don't think they will win it playing like that. Thomas only three points, what gives?:ohbrother:

I think Malcolm only dropped 3 because the student section got in his head

Clark led 23-5 at the end of the first quarter and held a commanding 48-13 advantage at the break. From that point on, Cardinals coach Scott Humphrey cleared his bench and rested his starters. Overall, 11 players entered the scoring column for the hosts.

Despite limited duty, four of Clark’s top eight players finished in double figures, led by sixth-man Travis Purvis who finished with 15 points, with 13 of those coming in the opening half. Purvis sank a pair of 3-pointers and had 10 points in the first eight minutes.

Robbie Stenzel followed with 14 points, followed by Corey Rogers and Vinny Zollo with 10 points apiece. Zollo made his presence known in the post with 18 rebounds to complete a double-double performance.

Maybe Humphrey's methods are getting this team ready at the right times? Next few weeks will tell the tale.
