Keep in mind that the Freshman game was a little skewed since SK is playing 5 freshmen up at the JV/Varsity level. Those 5 do not play Freshman at all.

 

SK has some great freshman and WV has a great 8th grade class. SK 's freshman are much better today.

Agreed. It may be numbers situations for SK- they have 5 freshman playing JV/Varsity where Walton has two (I believe). Walton may have the most talented player in McNeil but SK has more 'go to' guys at this level.

SK has more 1, 2 and 3's to throw at you. It will all depend on who's bigs will develop. The Burns kid(8th) is much more developed at his age than his older brother. I saw an SK freshman that was 6'3" or 4" that looked like he had potential. Skilled bigs will make the difference between the two schools.

The big for SK is probably Ben Racke. He is a nice big man with soft touch around the basket. WV from what I have seen always has well coached teams who all have very good fundamentals. I have yet to see the McNeil kid play but hear a lot of good things.

The big is actually Brandon Yanke. I think he's 6'4.

It is Yanke and he has developed tremendously since last year! Got a feeling if the kid keeps putting in the time, he's going to help that loaded Freshman class out alot!
