But the 6-foot-3 senior had his time in the spotlight Saturday night as he scored a season-high 23 points — three times his average — in leading the third-ranked Cardinals to a 69-54 victory over Male in the Central Bank Classic at Lexington Christian Academy.

I think SC will start picking it up a notch, they will be peaking towards the end of the year.

They sure played well from the second quarter on. Flannery is a very good outside shooter and so is Euton.

SC really has a 7 man starting line up. Anyone of the top 7 can start the game for them and hardly any drop off.

Despite the loss to LCA, I still think Scott Co is the top 2 teams in the state and this game proves is. Very impressive showing by the Cards.

 

Good to see Flannery have a big game. He is underrated big time.

Scott County looked very impressive aside from the first half of the first quarter, and a few spurts in the late third.

 

Also impressed with D' Carlo Hayes of Male. He's quite a player, maybe one of the more underrated players I've seen so far (and I know of the attention he gets already).
