Final in a predictable "RWPD" (rather watch paint dry) contest from Latonia. Typical physical HC-BB matchup, with Brossart coming out on top for the first time since 1999 at HC per Mustang on the broadcast. Good job by the Mustangs avoiding the letdown after the emotional Scott game Saturday!!

I'm sure Mustang will have some stats, but I don't think either team shot particularly well. BB something like 18-19% from 3, and I believe HC very deliberate trying to shorten the game somewhat. HC definately struggling to score this year, but always plays tough "D" against Brossart. NC held to 8 1st half points, and did here Robby Broering hit 4 3's for HC to keep it interesting in the 2nd half.

Half of HC's points come from 1 player all in 2nd half. Hmmmmm

Im sorry but this is just awful, I know BB puts teams in situations where it is tough to score each time down the floor but 8 field goals total? :idunno:

 

One other stat I thought was interesting, only 11 FT's shot in this one. Referees must have had to be somewhere.

24 points is awful......what the heck is going on in Latonia! You must score points to win games. I dont think I will put Holy Cross on my list of teams to see this year. I have seen Brossart this year and they do get up in ya but that is bad.

The HC offense appears to have gone beyond what I previously described as "somewhat anemic".

While I understand the reasoning behind shortening the game, at some point you have to stretch the O a little.

That was the greatest game of All Time Tony Yates with UK. He ruined their party in the Queen City. Hes a great man always invited to the Dog Indian showdown!
