In the semifinals of the Poplar Bluff shootout. Ballard led the whole way, and got up by as much as 17 in the third quarter and 15 heading into the fourth, but a furious Central rally got them as close as three on a few occasions, but Ballard always had the answer. Keisten Jones had 17 of Ballard's 24 first quarter points.

 

Ballard has won all five meetings between the two teams, none by more than 6 points.

Shanklin play?

Fant had 22 points on 10/13 shooting from the field, 2/5 from the line. Shooting-wise, that's probably his best game of the year. Central as a team shot the ball well, shooting 29/50 (58%) from the field. Ballard was 28/54 (52%), so a good shooting night from each team. I was told what did Central in was a myriad of turnovers in the third quarter, where the Dragons were outscored 21-12. Just dug too deep of a hole against a great team like Ballard.

 

Jones ended up with 32 points, 12/15 from the field, including 6/9 from three.

Warren Central is going to be very tough when they get Shanklin back. I'm surprised they were able to keep the game this close without him. Says a lot about the depth of WC.
