Very well said. How did Stenzil do against the smaller, athletic guards of Male. I figured he would have given them fits with his height as other taller SG's have done?

 

He did not have a good first quarter, better second half, but not his usual game.

 

 

Male came out on fire, and GRC struggled. I will give the Cards credit for never giving up and fighting back the second half. I really like this Male team, players and parents were really nice after the game.

Parents may be nice, but the student sections were brutal during the districts last two years. It'll be fun.

I agree GRC will be fine. Knew we would take some lumps this year with the teams we would be playing.

Male is very athletic and attack the rim strong. When they are shooting well they are very formidable. the 7th is WAY up for grabs.....it will be interesting!

Tough teams they're playing plus they're not playing well. Bad combo!:ylsuper:Clark was within 3 with less than a minute to go and 2 times the ball wound up in the wrong hands. Clark had too many turnovers .

The 6th has been down for a good while and still far from the 90's when you had Fairdale, PRP, and Doss at the tops of their games. Though we did see Central make a run last year.

 

The 7th is no stronger than it has been all decade, but is missing that one true dominant team that's a step ahead of the field. I guess that's why you would say its more open this year than the past.

He started first half, but didn't second, was not a good game for him.

^ Sometimes it takes a while after sitting out for an entire year for the injury. He's a great kid.

That is so true. Zollo is playing so much better this year after returning last year from a broken leg. Travis just needs to keep his head up and work hard.

Clark's offense didn't jell well the first half and we tried to man -man defend a team that was much quicker. Clark gave them too many lay-ups and then fouled from the back. A lot of 3 point plays.:idunno:
