Championship Game on Sunday, January 31st

Is it a rule that the 9th & 10th regions must play one another by at least the 2nd round every year?? The two regions ALWAYS seem to meet no later than the quarterfinals, frequently setting up a NKY "neighborhood" game.

Someone with a great deal of All A Knowledge can you project the brackets?

My thoughts on these regions:

14th Hazard

15 Shelby Valley

16th Fairview

I look for Shelby Valley to win it all.

Is there a website that has the teams in the All A in each region ranked?

Bad draw for Region 1 ...

Someone with a great deal of All A Knowledge can you project the brackets?

Not sure I qualify as the above, but I'll give it a stab, admittedly drawing from some pre-season rankings since the season is young.

1--Carlisle County, Murray, Mayfield

2--UHA, Lyon County

3--Owensboro Catholic, Edmundson County

4--Glasgow, Clinton County, Russelville

5--Campbellsville, sounds like Bardstown is rebuilding

6--DeSales, Shawnee

7--Lou. Collegiate

8--Owen County, Gallatin Co., Walton Verona

9--NCC, Newport

10--Bishop Brossart, Nicholas Co.

11--LCA, Berea, Frankfort

12--Danville, Somerset

13--Middlesboro, Lynn Camp

14--Hazard, Buckhorn

15--Shelby Valley

16--Fairview, Elliott Co

All this being said, it looks likes Shelby Valley's to lose if they make it to Richmond; but that's why they play the tourney--Seems like several "can't miss teams" didn't end up winning this event the last several years??

Carlisle County is the Region 1 favorite, but by mid-January there are some other teams that could pose a threat, namely Heath, Mayfield, Murray and possibly Fulton County.
