GRC will take on Huntsville Lee Al. in the King of the Bluegrass Tourney Friday. About all I know of them is that they have two good players ( listed below) and are very athletic.

Announcers for the game last night said that GRC's new starting line up averaged 6'6. Unreal height for a high school team. How do you see this game playing out?

Huntsville Lee:

6'6 Devin Langford- Younger cousin of Josh Langford. Considered to be a high D1 prospect and already holds offers from Alabama, Maryland, and Wake Forrest.

6'7 Josh Langford- Former L'ville commit. 3 star prospect that now holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Chattanooga, Georgia, Marquette, and UNLV.

Seems like a good matchup.

I'll take GRC in a close one.

GRC 72

Huntsville, AL 65

I think GRC wins in a close one. Lee will be carried by both Langford's but in the end the Cards balance will be the difference.

GRC- 65

Lee- 59

GRC in a tight one, 64-61.

If we can continue to get 4 Cards in double figures, I like our chances. Hard to key in on just Zollo and Stenzel because Rogers, Daniels and Purvis can make you pay. Very unselfish team.

Is Rogers now starting in place of Kindred to give GRC a bigger look? OR does Kindred still start?

Kindred is hurt. Was hurt in the Male game and did not play last night. He is doubtful for this game. Purvis had been coming off the bench and Cory Rogers starting. Last night Daniels was moved to PG to replace Kindred, and Purvis started at forward.

If the Cards use that starting lineup against Lee, they are going to be very tough to match up with.

The only thing that I could see hurting Clark is their lack of quality depth.

I agree. Charlie Rogers is doing a fanatic job coming off the bench and so is Fatkin. Both are Sophomores with no varsity experience last year. Vancleve is coming along, just needs experience. We do have Martin, who subbed last year.

According to Maxpreps, Lee comes in to the game 8-5. Something that I found interesting is that Lee has been playing since November 10th. They start basketball extremely early in Alabama.

That is interesting. They have played 12 games and GRC 6.

A few names to watch in this game for Lee:

Damien Barney

LeBron King

6'0 CJ Richardson

6'2 Allen Payne

6'6 Devin Langford

6'7 Josh Langford

LeBron King I believe is a bigger forward but couldn't find anything on how big he was.

That is interesting. They have played 12 games and GRC 6.

They might have actually played more than their 8-5 record shows. Looking at their schedule on their school website, they've already played in 3 or 4 tournaments as well as around 10 regular season games.

They start basketball here in Florida around that time as well. The local high schools here in the Tampa have anywhere from 8 to 14 games under their belt already.

Anyway, Cards and Huntsville Lee will and it will come down to the end. Cards win going away by 5. 75-70 GRC
