It took a good team to beat a good team. Close game back and forth in the final minutes. Deming finally broke out to a 5pt lead, Polar Bears clawed back into it and Kyle King hit the turn around basket at 2.3 and that iced it(no Pun intended to our Bracken County neighbors) for the Devils.

I have to give props to the Bracken County shooters it seemed everytime they launched a 3pointer they connected. Good effort by both teams.

It should be mentioned that Deming is playing without a starter Ethan Earlywine who is sitting out a few games. He helps them out under the basket.

Bracken County's play at the end with 3 seconds left after a timeout was very puzzling unless the play drawn up actually called for a 6'5 forward/center to bring the ball up the court,fake a half court shot and pass it to an unaware player off of his head at half court.:confused:

Maybe the defense wasn't looking for this one.

Felt like Bracken should have used their size advantage quite a bit more and pounded the ball inside with some half court offense.
