Mayfield, 2A at the time, beat 4A champ Christian County in the early 80's. 1982 I believe is the year.

Didn't Lex Cath beat St. X in 2003- I think St. X made the title game that year and Lex Cath did not. Boyle played Highlands in 3A and X played T in 4A

You are correct. St. X lost to Lexington Catholic 19-14 that season.

 

St X lost in the State Title game to Trinity 17-14.

 

Lex Cath was upset by Oldham County 28-24 in the 2nd round of the 3A playoffs. Boyle won the State Title that year over Highlands.
