November 17, 200916 yr What's everyone's thoughts? I'm going with Tito Ortiz by decision and JK over Anthony Johnson. I don't know who else is fighting, but regardless I don't think I'll get this one. Tito Ortiz is perhaps the most overrated fighter in MMA history that isn't named Kimbo and Griffin is a cry baby.

Would have rather seen Davis vs Saunders myself. There's not a big main event that you usually see on most UFC cards but I think all the fights on this card are solid and will be fun to watch. I think Griffin does decision his way to victory over Tito due to him being on such a long layoff, Johnson will put Kos to sleep with a kick or punch, I'll take Luiz Cane by decision in a great fight, like Hazlett to beat Karo and Amir to take down the NYBA.

November 19, 200916 yr Tito beat Wanderlei Silva too, back before Silva went to Pride. He also beat Vitor Belfort and took Rashad Evans to a draw. Those are his best wins/fights IMO.

Oh and he was very close to submitting Lyoto Machida with a triangle choke. Yeah I know. I was just making a backwards statement that Tito was greatly overrated.
November 21, 200916 yr Author I was originally pulling for Tito in this fight, but after watching the pre-fight interviews, etc., I just can't bring myself to do it. He is such an arrogant jerk.
November 21, 200916 yr The Karo/Hazelett fight is off. Karo will never fight in the UFC again, he claims he couldnt get a license from the NSAC unless he paid a 32k fine and he says he didnt have the money. Hazelett is going to get his show and win money still even though he isnt fighting now.

Dana was not happy that he dropped out and posted a very angry tweet about it :lol:.
November 22, 200916 yr Author I ended up getting this card, and was not dissapointed. Great night of fights. Tito Ortiz is horrible.
November 22, 200916 yr I haven't had the time to buy the PPV and watch the fights, Glad that you all can keep up with it. I've came to every thread, And enjoyed reading what was posted...Hopefully soon and I can start watching like I use to..
