After finally picking up a copy of "I and Love and You" by The Avett Bros., I might have to argue. And you know how much I love JTE.

 

"January Wedding" is my runaway song of the year. Nothing else comes close.

I got it about three weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it! "January Wedding" is also my favorite. Such a great love song!

 

She keeps it simple

I love that line. To me it describes the whole song. The song is amazing in how simple it actually is.

 

I'm still picking JTE but have no problems going with I And Love And You.

To be honest I haven't had much time to listen to most of the newer albums this year but the ones that come to mind would be:

 

Jay-Z - The Blueprint 3

Dave Matthews Band - Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King

Kings of Leon - Only By The Night

Cage the Elephant - Cage the Elephant (Gotta show some love for the boys from BG)

 

I'm still wanting to listen to the new Wolfmother, Zac Brown Band, Muse, Pearl Jam and 30 Seconds to Mars.

 

30 Seconds to Mars has stolen my top spot... I'm loving this new album.

I haven't had a chance to listen yet. The video for the new single is awesome though.

That's probably one of my least favorite songs on the album. The video is pretty cool, though.

 

I really like "Alibi", "Hurricane", "Closer to the Edge", "Vox Populi", "100 Suns", and "This is War".. I like every song on the album, but those are my favorites.

I agree with The Blueprint 3 and Only By The Night. I absolutely LOVE Kings of Leon. By far my favorite artist! Did Eminem's Relapse come out in 08' or 09'? If 09' I would put that up there too. But I would probably put The Blueprint 3 on top! :thumb:
